Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) and
Licentiate of Theology (L.Th. English) Programs


A. Purpose and Goal
The Bachelor of Theology is the basic degree to prepare persons for academic competent and spiritually sensitive pastoral leadership. The degree is primary aimed to nurture students to become faithful servants and visionary leaders for the congregations. It tries to help the students grow in spiritual depth and moral integrity.
On the other hand, it tires to give the student comprehensive knowledge in Biblical and theological studies and to develop the specific skills needed for effective ministry. A learner is trained to develop a deep understanding of the cultural and social context. After completing this program, a learner is well prepared to lead a congregation and to pursue further studies at the master’s level.

B. Course Required
The students are required to take 124 credits and 8 non credits to complete the B.Th. program.

Bachelor of Ministry (B.Min.) Program
A. Purpose and Goal
The B. Min degree is for pastors and ministers who have at least five year of experience in church ministry. This program aims to help the practical church ministers to keep in touch with the contemporary theological education. The Primary goal of B.Min. degree is to strengthen the pastors and church leaders of their commitment in God’s service. It is to refresh and deepen their theological knowledge and equip them with the skills which are urgent demanded in the practical ministry of contemporary churches.

B. Course Required
The Program requires 65 credits for graduation.

Licentiate of Theology (L.Th. Kachin) Program

A. Purpose and Goal
The Licentiate of Theology is to prepare persons for competent and spiritually sensitive pastoral leadership in Kachin community. A unique concern in this course is to produce effective church leaders with a broadened and deepened foundation for the knowledge of and faithful obedience to the Bible and its teachings which is relevant for Kachin community.
The degree is primarily aimed to nurture students to become faithful servants and visionary leaders for the local congregations. It tires to train the student to provide a comprehensive knowledge in Biblical and theological studies and a deep understanding of the cultural and social context of today churches with emphasis upon the Kachin context.

B. Course Required

A. Purpose and Goal
BATS (English Major) program aims to provide professional education in Christianity and our community. This program is designed to provide a professional education for qualified students pursuing careers as translators, teachers, educators, Emcee, etc.,
